Mark Kordic has spent 20 years in the wine industry in Western Australia, gaining vineyard and wine making experience while developing his exporting and marketing expertise. His role in the family vineyard and winery has expanded over the years, as has his knowledge of and appreciation for Australian wines.

As a true ambassador for Australian wines, Mark wanted to create a series of wines that would showcase not only the fruits of the West’s world famous growing regions, but would feature the products of Australia’s many unsung, often under-valued regions.

Utilising his intimate regional knowledge and industry contacts, Mark has sourced the finest grapes from around the country and created a true ‘best of the best’ scenario in Wandering Wallaby Wines.

Every grape growing region of Australia exerts its own individual influence on the varietals grown there, and every parcel of fruit exhibits characteristics of its environment. Blending the uniquely flavoured fruits of a wide continent into wines of superb colour, texture and taste is Mark Kordic’s greatest achievement, and one that he shares with the country’s most respected winemakers. Mark collaborates with the leading vintners in each region, and together they select the fruit not only for its individual qualities, but for its ability to lend depth and range to the final blend.
